2. Our Services

Black Hat is a boutique interior construction company serving Seattle and King County, Washington. Our website includes a free design tool that generates illustrative concept images and a rough investment range. These concepts and ranges are for planning purposes only, are not a binding quote, and do not constitute a contract. Final scope and pricing are established in a written agreement before any work begins.

3. Estimates, Consultations & Pricing

Investment ranges shown online are preliminary and may change once we assess your space in person. Any project we undertake is governed by a separate written services agreement. Where applicable, payments are staged (typically a portion at signing, a portion at project start, and the remainder at completion) as set out in that agreement.

4. SMS / Text Messaging

If you opt in to text messages, you agree to receive messages from Black Hat related to your inquiry, appointments, and services as described in our Privacy Policy. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. You represent that you are the account holder or have authority to consent for the mobile number you provide.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website and services lawfully and not to interfere with their operation, attempt unauthorized access, or use them to transmit harmful or unlawful content.

6. Intellectual Property

The website, its content, branding, and the design concepts and materials we generate are owned by Black Hat or its licensors and are protected by law. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without our written permission, except for your own personal, non-commercial use in evaluating our services.

7. Disclaimers

The website and the design tool are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Concept images are AI-assisted illustrations and may not reflect exact materials, finishes, dimensions, or final results. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Black Hat and its owners, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the website or services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Our obligations for any actual construction work are governed by the separate written services agreement for that project.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Black Hat harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the website or services or your violation of these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted, as reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the site or services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
